setup/

Ten minutes, one command. No Linux skills needed beyond SSH.

01

Get a server

Any VPS with a public IP: 1 CPU, 1 GB RAM, Ubuntu or Debian. About $4/month. A home machine works too, and pays more.

02

Add a node

Press the button above. You get a command with a one-time token.

03

Paste it

SSH into the server, paste, enter. It installs Xray and our agent in about a minute.

04

Go live

Checkers test your node from outside. First pass makes it live, usually within 15 minutes.

What pays more

  1. 01Staying up. 95%+ of checks in an hour pays that hour. Below that, nothing.
  2. 02Rare countries. Fewer nodes there, bigger slice.
  3. 03Home internet. Residential IPs get 1.5×.
  4. 04Tiny amounts wait until 0.001 SOL, then go out with the next payout.

Handy commands

  1. logjournalctl -u vlana-agent -f
  2. stsystemctl status xray vlana-agent
  3. rssystemctl restart vlana-agent

How it's split

  1. 01pump.fun creator fees land in the treasury.
  2. 02Every hour, fees that came in become that round's pool.
  3. 03Nodes with 95%+ of checks passed split the operators' part, by rarity and home bonus.

How it works, how to connect, how to run a node and get paid.

What it is

Vlana is a VPN without an account. No email, no card, no password. You sign in with a Solana wallet and hold $VLANA. That's the subscription.

Nodes are run by people, not by us. They get paid in SOL from the token's pump.fun creator fees, every hour they stay up.

Three things it does

  • No identity. We never learn who you are. A wallet address is all we see.
  • Invisible. VLESS + REALITY makes your traffic look like a normal HTTPS visit to a big site. Networks that block VPNs usually let it through.
  • Earn. Anyone can run a node and get SOL for it.

Two hops

Every connection goes through two nodes run by two different operators. Neither of them gets the full picture.

00you
entry · operator Asees you,
not the site
exit · operator Bsees the site,
not you
03the site

The entry only knows your IP and that you're using Vlana. The exit only knows the entry's IP and the site. Your exit stays the same per entry, so sites don't see you jump around.

A VPN that can't rat you out: no single operator can tie you to what you do.

Plans

Your plan depends on how much $VLANA sits in the wallet you signed in with. Balances are re-checked every 15 minutes. Buy more and you move up; sell and you move down or lose access.

Traffic resets on the 1st of every month. A device that hits its cap pauses until then.

Connect a device

We recommend Hiddify. It's free, open source and runs on everything. Any app that supports VLESS + REALITY subscriptions works too.

Steps

  • Sign in and open My devices.
  • Add a device and give it a name. Each device gets its own link.
  • On a phone: install Hiddify, then press Open in Hiddify on that phone, or scan the QR from your computer.
  • On a computer: install Hiddify, press Copy link, then in Hiddify press + → Add from clipboard.
  • Tap connect. Hiddify picks the fastest node by itself.

Not connecting?

  • Check My devices. A grey dot means the device is paused: no plan, too many devices, or the monthly cap is used up.
  • In the app, update the subscription. Nodes change, the link pulls the fresh list.
  • Try another node from the list. Some networks block specific IPs.

Run a node

A node is a small server running Xray (the VPN engine) and our agent (a tiny Python script that fetches config and reports traffic). Your REALITY private key is generated on your server and never leaves it.

You need

  • A Linux server with a public IP: Ubuntu 20.04+, Debian 11+ or a RHEL clone.
  • 1 CPU, 1 GB RAM, any disk. Bandwidth matters more than power.
  • Port 443/tcp free and reachable from the internet.
  • Root access over SSH.

Install

Open My nodes, press Add a node, copy the command and run it on the server:

The token is single-use and ties the node to your wallet. The node goes live after its first successful outside check.

Options

Defaults are fine for almost everyone. If port 443 is taken, or you want a different site to imitate, set them before bash:

curl -fsSL /install.sh | sudo PORT=8443 SNI=www.microsoft.com bash -s <token>

Manage

restartsystemctl restart vlana-agent xray

uninstallsystemctl disable --now vlana-agent xray && rm -rf /opt/vlana /etc/vlana

Statuses

enrollingCommand created, not installed yet.
pendingInstalled, waiting for the first outside check.
activeLive. Serving users and earning.
offlineNo successful check in 15 minutes. Check the logs.

Payouts

No waiting for payday. The network runs in one-hour rounds. When a round closes, the creator fees that came in during it are split right away:

Who gets paid

  • Good uptime. Checkers test every node through a real VLESS tunnel every few minutes. A node that passes 95% of at least 6 checks in the hour makes the cut. Below that it gets nothing for that hour.
  • Rarity. The pool is weighted by 1/√(good nodes in your country). Being the only node in a country is worth a lot.
  • Home bonus. Residential IPs get 1.5×.
  • Fair limits. Max 3 paid nodes per wallet and one per /24 network, so nobody farms with a rack of VPS.

How it's sent

  • SOL goes from the treasury straight to the wallet that added the node, in one transaction for everyone in the round.
  • Amounts under 0.001 SOL wait and go out together with your next payout.
  • If no node makes the cut, the pool rolls into the next hour.
  • Every transfer is public: see Payouts or Solscan.

Privacy

What we store

  • Your wallet address and token balance.
  • Your device names, links and bytes used this month (for the cap).

What we don't

  • No email, name, card or phone. There is nowhere to type them.
  • No browsing history. Xray access logs are off in the config every node gets.
  • No log of the IP you connect from.

Blocked on the network

  • BitTorrent, outgoing mail ports (25, 465, 587) and private networks. This keeps node operators out of trouble.

Verify

The code is public on GitHub. Here you can check that what vlana.app serves right now is byte for byte the same as the repo at the commit it says it runs. Your browser downloads both copies and compares them; nothing goes through us.

checking…

Do it yourself

Same check from a terminal. Both lines must print the same hash.

What this proves, and what it can't

  • The app you sign in with, the installer node operators run as root and the node agent are exactly the public code.
  • Node configs only carry opaque client tags, and checker keys rotate daily and travel the same two hops as yours. A node can't tell a check from a real user, so it can't fake uptime by serving checks only.
  • The control server's own code can't be proven from outside, by us or anyone. That's why the parts that touch your device and node servers are the ones you can verify, and why payouts are public on-chain.

FAQ

Do I pay anything besides holding the token?

No. Holding is the subscription. Signing in is a free message signature, not a transaction.

I sold my tokens. What happens?

Within about 15 minutes your plan drops. Below the minimum, your devices pause. Buy back and they come back on their own.

Which wallets work?

Any wallet that can sign a message: Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, including a Ledger connected through them.

Will it work on hotel, school or office Wi-Fi?

Usually yes. To the network your traffic looks like a normal HTTPS connection to a large website.

Can a node operator see my traffic?

An entry sees encrypted bytes and your IP. An exit sees which sites are visited but not by whom. HTTPS sites stay encrypted end to end.

Is the code open?

Yes. The control server, node agent, installer and checker are public, with an end-to-end test that builds a real two-hop chain on every commit. GitHub ↗
